Again, today was a successful day as well! I've seen two interesting Talent Lab collections again, with great up-beat music to it. Loved that!
Dido Yland showed us a lot of colors and geometric clean cut shapes. The coats are just my cup of tea! It's a simple but recognizable collection, which in my opinion is very hard to achieve. The collection was based on the mid-twenties, when women threw their corsets out and emancipation was noticeable. That explains the class and grace these pieces show!
The collection Allan Vos showed, was beyond stunning! Inspiration was definitely gotten from the Napoleon era, when high collars and fancy layers were all over the place. The collection gives you a historic but at the same time farmer-ish vibe, which looks interesting on the runway. Earthy tones - green, brown - were shown with a touch of red, which looks fresh. Feministic elements are clearly visible in the pieces, since I saw skirts and dresses walking by. A very storytelling collection with historic class!
As wel as yesterday: I've shot so many street style. I'm inspired myself, and I hope to inspire you too this weekend when I post them on the blog. So check out my blog this weekend!

Looks nice!
